Welcome to GadgetMouse, a VPN and product advice website that helps you spend your hard-earned money with confidence. We’re committed to publishing content that’s easy to digest, whether you’re shopping for a reliable VPN to use abroad or trying to fix your current software.
On this page, you’ll find more details on the history of GadgetMouse and what we have to offer our readers. Plus, we’ve included some information on the faces behind the articles.
What is GadgetMouse?
A free-to-access website offering advice on buying VPNs and troubleshooting if you run into annoying error messages. Our writers are based in the UK and produce original content designed to serve.
Online privacy concerns are constantly hitting the headlines these days, and we believe in providing readers with the tools needed to keep personal information away from prying eyes. The best VPNs offer protection against hackers, but they can also provide a way to stream your favourite shows while travelling.

Back to the beginning
GadgetMouse was launched back in 2020 at a time where the Coronavirus pandemic put a halt to in-store shopping. Consumers were hit hard, which is why our team decided to lend a hand with recommendations for products available online.
Evolving into something new
Although GadgetMouse started life as a product reviews website, we decided to focus our efforts on VPNs and associated services in 2023. Since then, we’ve committed to providing details on which VPNs perform the best and how to cope with common technical issues. It’s not the most exciting job in the world, but someone’s got to do it.
What can we offer?
The world of VPNs and online data privacy can be overwhelming (and a little nerdy), which is why we we want to simplify it. We thoroughly research and fact check every article that we publish.
By sticking with GadgetMouse, you’ll be treated to:
- In-depth VPN guides explaining how to deal with common problems, such as connectivity errors and blacklisted servers.
- Technology news covering new products that we think you should keep an eye on.
- Engaged authors ready to answer your questions.
- Money-saving deals on VPNs that we think are worth your attention.
Meet the team
Our website wouldn’t be the same without its knowledge, attentive editorial team – we’re a mini but mighty squad that are happy to take on feedback, so get in touch if you need to.
